| The HSC-4400 with the companion HSC-4401 Connector Card was the first generation hardware designed specifically for the hosiery industry. |
| A small number were made and put into sock production. This was the seed to the HSC-9460 Display Controller’s design to allow it to also control I/O cards. The subsequent HSC-5100 was then made as a complete package for a sock knitting machine. |
